Ahmed Hassan is the chief financial officer of Vodacom DRC, with more than 24 years of extensive leadership, finance, technology/telecom, and financial services experience.

He has held a variety of finance leadership positions both internationally and in Egypt, covering areas like decision support, investor relations, M&A, costing, finance operations, country management for a portfolio of Vodafone markets, and regional FP&A for Vodafone Group plc. in the UK.

In addition to his service on the IMA Global Board, he has held numerous other volunteer roles, including being the treasurer and a board member of the Vodafone Egypt Foundation.

Ahmed is a CMA and holds a bachelor of science degree in commerce from Helwan University. He has also completed advanced programs in digital execution, blockchain strategy, and fintech from the University of Oxford and IMD.
