Ekaterina Emelianova, CMA, CFM, CSCA

Ekaterina Emelianova is a seasoned C-level finance executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across corporate finance, investment banking, and financial strategy. Since October 2017, she has served as CFO of a Swiss local bank (currently TradeXBank AG), bringing her strong track record in both regional and international financial institutions.

Prior to her current role, Ekaterina served as finance director and CFO for the Corporate and Investment Banking division of the largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe. Her earlier experience includes senior finance leadership positions at top-tier investment banks across the CEE and CIS regions, as well as roles at Troika Dialog and Deloitte CIS.

Ekaterina holds a master’s degree in management from Moscow State University and two Executive MBAs — from INSEAD and London Business School — completed through a corporate sponsorship program. She holds several globally recognized finance certifications, including the CMA, CFM, CSCA, and CIA. Additionally, she holds a Board Director Diploma from IMD, reflecting her strong qualifications in corporate governance and boardroom leadership.

Since July 2021, Ekaterina has served as chair of the IMA Switzerland Chapter.
