Karl Ivo Sokolov is an accomplished data expert, technologist, and consulting executive from Austria with experience in banking, finance, and management consulting.

Karl began his career in forensic services at a Big 4 accounting firm, leading international engagements across Europe. He then served in an executive capacity as senior vice president at a major Central European banking group, overseeing data management, IT projects, and regulatory technology.

Currently, Karl is managing partner and shareholder at Specific-Group (SPG), a technology firm with 500 professionals specializing in software engineering, data, and AI. At SPG, he heads data and AI initiatives, driving innovative client projects and solutions. In addition to consulting, he leads the data and AI product Amonga.com, which is used in banking and compliance technology integrations worldwide.

Karl holds degrees in computer science and economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and an MBA from Webster University. Actively involved in the global professional community, he serves as president of the IMA Austria Chapter, where he is committed to advancing excellence in management accounting and finance.
