Moataz Gad, CMA

Moataz Gad is a commercial finance expert with a track record of success in leading Fortune 500 multinational corporations, including Petronas, Microsoft, PepsiCo, and Kimberly-Clark.

Moataz was nominated and selected for the 2013 PepsiCo Finance Award in honor of his achievements in financial transformation and people leadership. Throughout his corporate journey, Moataz held several key roles. In his most recent corporate role, he served as the regional commercial controller for the GCC countries at Kimberly-Clark. Moataz played a pivotal role in streamlining internal controls, advancing the commercial strategy, and delivering exceptional outcomes in both sales and working capital, making a substantial impact on the business’s results across the region.

In 2019, Moataz transitioned to academia, bringing his industry experience to the next generation of finance professionals. He is currently a senior lecturer and program leader for the MSc in Accounting and Finance program at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), where he has earned a respected reputation as an educator, mentor, and trusted advisor.

Moataz is a CMA; he also holds an MBA from ESLSCA (École Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées) and an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from UWE Bristol.
